Courier delays

Hope you are all having an amazing week!

Just wanted to update everyone that Auspost is having some major issues with picking up your parcels.

They have been booked in to pick up parcels every day this week, so far they have only done one pickup (1 out of 4?!)

If your parcel looks like it is sitting on our doorstep, I apologise. I have been onto the phone with them every day this week hounding them to collect the parcels.

They have a major driver shortage (insert covid excuses here 🙄 😒). They are doing the best they can. If they do not collect them tomorrow morning I'll pack the car up and take them to the post office myself.

Unfortunately,  this is going to be the norm for a little while again until this latest wave is over.

From us to you, please remember....

Everyone is in the same boat. Everyone needs to have items as soon as possible. We get it. We understand. That is why we are getting our orders out usually within 24 hours. This hasn't been an issue. The issue has been getting them from us to you.

I guess what I'm trying to say is it's time to be kind to one another. To not wait until the last minute to order something. To not get upset with us, a small family run business, because it looks like we haven't done it. We have. To not get upset because people are sick. Yes  we are all waiting for a national company with a network of drivers to play their part. Yes it's frustrating. But it's also nothing new (damn you covid)

Sit back, have a coffee, and breathe. Everything will be ok. We all have a part to play, and we are all doing the best we can with what we are given. Yourselves included. So stop being so hard on yourself. Love yourself a little more, be kinder to yourself and others around you. It will totally change their day.

Stay safe, breathe, and have a good week. Because we all need one of those right now!
