Shipping Updates - Express post and Auspost parcel pickup times

Hello to all of you, we hope this update finds you well!

Just quickly, due to the enormous blow out of times with Auspost, we have disabled Express Post for the time being.

We book for our parcels to be picked up on a daily basis, and have done this ever since using Auspost.

Due to COVID and the posties having time off to Isolate or because they have tested positive, Auspost cannot provide the service on a regular basis.

Last week, we ordered same day pickup (like we always do) on Tuesday. They missed that pickup, which at worst normally gets picked up the next business day. They did not pick up on Wednesday either. I contacted them every day last week, telling them how you guys were getting (understandably) frustrated and annoyed. Long story short, they picked it up on Monday. 

I can't guarantee that they will pick up the orders in any timeframe really. 

We will still be shipping all Metro parcels with Sendle, they are quick, and easy to deal with, and they arrive when they are booked. 

All Regional parcels will continue to be sent with AusPost (Sendle can't offer the fast delivery times Auspost usually provide). Although we DO NOT recommend posting to PO Boxes or Parcel lockers, those will also be sent with Auspost. 

Once Auspost are able to bring their pickup and Express post timeframes back into line with normal, I will reactivate it.
